THE STORY SO FAR....

I compose and record music for film and television projects, and have worked on a number of documentaries, short films and features.

My first commissions were the 'Battle of Britain' series for The History Channel and 'Fighting The Blue' for UKTV. Subsequently I composed music for other documentaries about WWII history, including 'Spitfire: The Birth Of A Legend', 'The Lancaster At War', 'The Last Of The Few' and 'The Long March To Freedom'.

Other commissions have included programmes for BBC Schools television, 'A Day to Remember' (a programme for Sky Arts about the sculptor - Paul Day) and a set of short films for Cineworks in Vancouver inspired by 'Highway 61', plus a wide range of independent productions, both short form and feature length.

I seek to be inspired by all of the creative forces at work on a project, and enjoy collaborating with actors, directors, producers, editors and sound-designers. I've been fortunate to work with some very skilled and knowledgeable people in these disciplines, as well as some remarkable musicians.

It is always my intention to produce music that best fits a project; supporting but not overpowering the other soundtrack elements of dialogue and sound FX. I am also a firm believer that every story has its own voice.

I enjoy new challenges and the chance to explore a different sonic landscape, and hope to progress into new and exciting territory.
